 Helped the team in conducting feasible study on various trucks for TL series Truck mounted Aerial Work Platform.
 Implementing new manufacturing process and clearing manufacturing issues on existing product line.
 Developed an engineering documents which includes drawings and Hydraulic schematics for customized Truck
mounted OPTIMA without Jib option.
 Meeting engineering deliverables including product design, drawings, checking product specification & active member
of brainstorming, VA/VE meetings.

 Essayed a stellar role in NPD work on adjustable barrier bracket which includes competitive benchmarking, force and
welding calculation, and numerical validation for Terex USA, resulting in huge cost savings.
 Leveraged skills in the development of Extendable Track Working Safety Platform using competitive benchmarking,
stability validation and numerical validation for Terex UK.
 Effectively handled Total Machine Integration work on double toggle jaw crusher and Apron Feeder, Reverse
Engineering calculation for transmission system in Apron Feeder for Terex Australia.
 Headed the Global Strategic Sourcing Team at India for Terex global sites; supervised global strategic sourcing on
fabrication, Casting and hydraulic parts, including analyzing should cost report, standardization of drawing with

concrete design and suitable vendor finalization.
 Pivotal in managing complete project for KSB pumps entailing design of seven process cranes to their whole plant,
cost optimization and vendor development for new empact motor design; bagged & executed order worth 2 Cr.
 Managed several government projects and developed local vendors to compete in the Indian market.
 Won Improvement Award for executing Jabil India order by giving a spontaneous solution for designing a 100T crane
in a restricted area workshop.

Atlas Copco (Construction and Mining Technology Engineering Centre), Bangalore, India Aug’16 - Apr’18
Engineer - Design

 Actively worked in Product Development & Sustenance Engineering (Rock Drilling Tools-Sweden & India).
 Extended part/assembly development support for new range of rotary and DTH hammer.
 Involved in reverse engineering activities on development of thread profile for various DTH hammers.
 Conducted linear tolerance stack up analysis on a DTH hammer which was facing frequent wear and tear problem.
 Part of a NPD team for new generation drill pipe, entailing concept development, and analytical validation of components.
 Undertook case study on application of GD&T for Engineers working in Global Engineering Centre.
 Part of a NPD team for new top hammer model development & validated for their feasibility; played a key role in the
release of new top hammer bits in the market with short period of product development time.
 Instrumental in conducting analysis on involvement of Atlas COPCO CMTEC in product design and development;
studied a couple of projects which the center has involved and proposed a new idea on involvement of center in

 Responsible for selection of crane components, validating structure design, preparing manufacturing and general
arrangement drawings for various types of cranes along with ensuring successful delivery at the client site.
 Developed calculations for JIB cranes & PEB column structures using economical rolled sections.
 Successfully designed Group Monorail System in the restricted area with effective solution for JCB India Ltd.
 Accomplished a customized crane project for NPCL which includes calculation, selecting components, supporting the
fabrication, testing and installation at site.

useful resource for lot of engineers at company to understand the selection of cranes based on class of duty.
