CHAPTER IV

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS
AND INTERPRETATION OF
DATA
Presented by:

Mark Alvin R. Malaya, MaED - SS

CHAPTER IV
Serves as the heart and soul of the entire
research work and therefore requires great and
meticulous and well planned writing on the part
of the researcher.
Presentation of Data
is the process of organizing data into logical,
sequential, and meaningful categories and
classifications to make them amenable to study and
interpretation

• Tables and graphs are used to the clarity of the

presentation
• Tables and figures must be properly numbered and
labeled
Analysis is the process of breaking up the whole
study into constituent parts

Analysis of research data is a scientific process of

examining the data or facts as to answer the
problems raised at the start of the study.

The researcher needs to scrutinize the attributes,

traits, quality, quantity, patterns, trends, relationships
of data
Ways of Doing Data Analysis
1. Qualitative Analysis – is a kind of analysis which is
not based on precise measurement and qualitative
claims as the phenomenon

2. Quantitative Analysis- is a kind of analysis is used

on data that have been assigned numerical value.
Process of Data Interpretation
The process of interpretation is defined as “an
explanation or conceptualization by a critic of a work
literature, music or other art form.
Three Level of Interpretation
1. Based on interferences and deductions 2.
Based on documented evidences supporting or
contradicting the findings
3. Based on the researcher’s insightful interpretation
using implications and synthesis
CHAPTER IV

DATA

This chapter includes the analyses and interpretation of

data gathered.
(This chapter presents the study, their analyses and
interpretation
in accordance with the sequence of the specific questions
raised in Chapter 1.)

time. Respondents are very satisfied on the value of cost-of-service. On the Quality
of food delivered, they are very satisfied. Lastly, functionality of the application got a
very satisfied rating.
