2. Before pumping the pressure head /peizometric surface / potentiometric surface / water table is horizontal.

3. Pumping well is being oumped zt a constant rate.

4. The well diameternis instrumentally small compared to any storage of water in the well (well lose).

5. The pumping well penetrates the entire aquifer.
