Possessive pronouns
are used in English to
avoid repeating
information.

Possessive pronoun merupakan pronoun atau kata ganti

apapun yang menandakan kepemilikan.
Possessive pronoun terbagi menjadi 2:
1. Dependent possessive pronoun (Possessive adj)
Yang dimaksud dependent karena pemggunaan possessive
pronoun yang melekat pada objek. Seperti penggunaan: my,
your,our,their his, her dan its.
example: My Book
: Your chair
: Our plates, etc

2. Independent possessive pronoun

Adapun yang dimaksud dengan independent ialah possessive
pronoun yang dapat berdiri sendiri tanpa tambahan objek
dibelakangnya. Seperti penggunaan mine, yours, his, hers, dan
its.
Example: Those mini dolls are ours (Boneka kecil-kecil itu
adalah milik kami).
: I think mine must be somewhere here (Aku pikir
milikku ada di sekitar sini).
