Our Interviewees: -

Question 1) How do you feel about education for women?

= Education should be prevalent for women. It is very important;


she should be educated to support her family and also be self
dependent.

Question 2) What do you think is important for women to learn


and why?
= A women should learn how to be self-dependent as well as proper
decision making. It helps to boost their confidence and contribute
towards their society. Every woman should be given basic education
as well to help her progress in life.

Question 3) What are the advantages and disadvantages of being


employed (as a woman)? Think about the consequences for the
children/for the partner/for the children/for the woman herself.

= When it comes to advantages, a woman being employed can


bring financial stability to her family through which everyone can
lead a comfortable life. The disadvantage being is not giving
personal time given to her children and family.

Question 4) Who is in charge of deciding who is doing what in the


household?
= No one in particular should a “in charge”. It should be mutual
understanding between all family members. Everyone should be
free to express their views. The old scenario of the male being the
dominant one is changed. Women should be allowed to put forth
their points and have likewise education.

In Summary: -
Women irrespective of age should be prevailed to proper and basic
education. As the time has changed it has become a need for the
women to gain education. She should be allowed to express her
views. Education for women has many advantages like being
independent, having freedom and most importantly having the self
confidence being built in herself. There are minor disadvantages of
not having enough time for her family. Last but not the least, the
interviewees are all great examples of how women should be
educated and regardless of their profession. She can equally do the
same work in an office as well as from her home. Woman
empowerment is a necessity and should be supported by everyone.
