The Relationship of Life Perpetuation

and Evolution of Life

In order to pass genetic traits, a living organism should live longer and reproduce. Evolution is a
change in the characteristics of living things over time. Evolution can be described as a change in species
over time. Natural selection is the method through which evolution takes place, as stated by Charles
Darwin. In natural selection, some members of a species produce more offspring than others because they
are better adapted to their environment, passing “advantageous traits” to their progeny. Perpetuation, on
the other hand, can be defined as the continuation of life.
In my own understanding, the perpetuation of life leads to evolution, they are separate ideas but
connected, like related domains. If a species succeeds in overcoming the environmental challenges they
would have the opportunity to reproduce, and reproduction brought new genetics, although on asexual
reproduction, the new individuals produced are genetically and physically identical to each other, i.e.,
they are the clones of their parents, there is still a chance for them to change through mutation.
They are distinct but related domains because once you successfully pass on genes, even
prodigiously, you don’t instantly abandon interest in survival. We can sense the will to live and pass on
genes; perhaps you can discover a deeper connection there in the sense of personal and genetic survival
we feel, which frequently drives evolution and evolving genes. Our interest in how our genes change
doesn’t seem to be visceral like our interest in surviving and passing along genes, which is why I don’t
think we can feel it.
In conclusion, evolution is the process by which the traits of living organisms change over time.
A living thing should live longer and reproduce in order to transmit genetic features. If a species succeeds
in overcoming the environmental challenges they would have the opportunity to reproduce, and
reproduction brought new genetics.
