Ext. Middle of paved road - day

Orange and green leaves litter the road and the surrounding
area. It is very quiet, minus the sound of the wind rustling
in the leaves.

A TEENAGER, 17-year-old, curly-haired, tan, short, and

dressed in sweatpants and a hoodie, with a backpack on his
back, is riding his bike down the road.

As he rides his bike, he constantly looks left and right, as

if looking for something particular

CUT to:

int. classroom - day

The teenager is sitting in a classroom chair, by himself away

from the rest of the class. There are several others students
seated nearby, discussing a topic.

CLASSMATES 1-3, are 16-17, dressed as students and facing

each other in a circle.

CLASSMATE #1

My grandfather told me a tale about the house by the woods

that's haunted.

ClASSMATE #2

Wait, the one that showed up on a newspaper ages ago or

something?

CLASSMATE #1

Yeah, I think so, he said that a kid that used to go to

school with him went to that house and never showed up after
that.

CLASSMATE #3

Like he died? They didn't find a body or anything?

CLASSMATE #1

Nah he's been missing ever since, to be honest, he

The Teenager overhears the conversation and lets himself into

it.

TEENAGER

No way you think that ghosts actually exist.

All three classmates look at the Teenager and give him an

awful look.

CLASSMATE #1

So can you explain what happened to that kid?

The teenager pauses for a few seconds.

TEENAGER

Well, I don't have a clue seeing that it happened decades

ago, but even then you can't think that some ghost you can't
see actually exists.

CLASSMATE #2

If you are so sure then why don't you just go there and prove
us wrong?

The rest of the classmates agree along with Classmate #2.

TEENAGER

What you makes you think I won't!? I'll record myself going
through the supposedly haunted place and prove your gullible
asses wrong.

CLASSMATE #3

Have at it pal, if you die you better not be getting haunted

by you.

All three classmates start laughing and start distinctly

chatting.

CUT TO:

Ext. street - Evening

The teenager eventually sees the house near the woods while
riding on his bike, then makes a relieved look since

he has been riding for an uncomfortable amount of time.

TEENAGER

Finally.

The Teenager pulls up to the side of the building and rests

his backpack and bike against the a wall of the house. He
unzips his bag and reaches for his flashlight and camera,
takes it out then zips his bag back up. He walks down the
hill with caution and stands right next to a tree with a
scar-looking mark across it. He points the flashlight in
front of him and turns it on along with the camera. Walks
down into the forest with the camera in front of his chest
for a while before he gets deep enough in it. He sees
multiple trees with noticeable markings and realizes he is in
the same area where the previous victim disappeared from. He
looks around with slow movements, closes his eyes and takes a
deep breath to remain calm. In the middle of his deep breath
he hears a sudden rustle through the leaves behind him, he
quickly opens his eyes and turns around, gasps, facing the
area of the noise. He aims the camera at the leaves that
rustled and...

TEENAGER

Its just some leaves, you guys are stupid for actually
believing this.

Teenager turns 180 degrees and proceeds to walk confidently

around the marked trees. He hears a much more aggressive
rustle of leaves. He then looks to the right and yells...

TEENAGER

HEYY!!!

The Teenager starts to look around rapidly and lowers his

camera and points the flashlight at random trees where the
sound comes from. He says...

TEENAGER

Nope... nope. (with shaky voice)

He starts to speed walk for a second then starts running

towards where he came from, but immediately trips belly down
and hits the side of his head, and blacks out. He wakes up
(we see the perspective from the camera that fell near his
head) grunting from the grogginess and pain emerging from his
head. He opens his slowly and then

xccsuddenly his eyelids shoot wide open, starts breathing

heavily because he realizes that he is still in the forest.
He isn't able to get up and then sees a shadowy figure
standing over him, the teenager starts yelling while a light
begins to grow brighter, shining into his eyes. The scene
ends with a bright light consuming the screen.
