BLACK SCREEN

Snapchat notification sound awakens our character

INT. COLLEGE STUDENT'S BEDROOM- MIDDAY

CLOSE UP on our STUDENT in their very messy bed.

Student throws their blanket off the bed to find iPhone next
to them plugged in near their face.

For a brief moment we see the Student's disheveled and dirty

room before we are interrupted quickly panning to their phone
on the nightstand near their bed, a face covering mask
clearly in view.

The only notifications are from various social medias.

Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram.

The student opens TikTok and begins to mindlessly scroll

through their feed in bed.

CUT TO - INT. COLLEGE HOUSE LIVING ROOM

STUDENT sitting on couch wearing baggy and unwashed clothes

with headphones in their ears, still mindlessly scrolling on
their phone.

CLOSE UP on the clock on the iPhone seemingly speeding

through time as the scrolling on the screen continues

CUT TO - INT. College STUDENT'S BEDROOM- NIGHT

We see STUDENT PLUG in their phone and drop into bed

INT. COLLEGE STUDENTS BEDROOM- MIDDAY

The day is a repeat of the one before. The only difference is

STUDENT is wearing different dirty clothing and slightly
faster. Ending the same way. an Ambient noise begins to
build.

After this the day repeats again. And again. getting faster
every time, Ambient Noise getting louder every time.

Seeing a sad daily routine for this student. Building up

pressure.

DERRICK
You just seem distracted lately, I
don't know I'm a little worried about
you... You sure you're alright?

STUDENT
I don't know. I just want to distract
myself from everything.

DERRICK
Come on man lets get some fresh air. I
think you need it.
