1. Analyze the Last Five Year (2017-2021) Term Final Questions of Machine Design.

Machine Design (ME 351) course was completed in two parts previously, naming,
Machine Design I (ME 341) and Machine Desgin II (ME 343). You have to also check
these questions if necessary.

2. Compile and Sort your questions Topic Wise. Only topics covered in the problem solving classes
(Introductory Stress Problem, Shrink-Fit, Curved Beam, Contact Stress, Castigliano’s
Theorem, Failure Theory, Column, Fracture Mechanincs: Chapter 3 to Chapter 5 and
partially Chapter 6 of your text book) are necessary.
3. Solve the problems.
4. Arrange your assignment as follow:
a. Suitable Cover Page
b. Questions (Complete description of problems as Term Final Question with necessary figure,
also mention the date of the questions)
c. Solution of the problems
5. Scanned copy must be uploaded before 13 January, 2023.
