“Thanks for inviting me to interview.

1. Tell me about yourself


My name is Fitriani Sudirman. I am thirty years old. I graduated from the Faculty of Public health of
Hasanuddin University Makassar, majoring in Environmental Health. I live in Makassar for work but my
family lives in Soppeng, one of the districts in South Sulawesi. Now I work in the Covid-19 Recovery task
force in South Sulawesi as a Data volunteer. As a data volunteer my task is Recapitalize and process data
related to covid-19 and vaccinations in the province of South Sulawesi which is updated every day. The
data is one of the considerations in policy making by the government, especially the province of South
Sulawesi.

2. Tell me about your work experience


In 2015, after finishing my master's degree, I helped my lecturers to teach and became a laboratory
assistant for approximately one year. After that,I meet my friends who worked in Unicef and ask me to
join her project in malaria elimination in South and West Sulawesi until 2020. Beside that, I’m join too
in National Health Survey as supervisor until 2019. And when covid-19 pandemic occur in April 2020
I’m join in recovery task force until now.

3. Tell me about your education


I graduated from the Faculty of Public Health Hasanuddin University, majoring in Environmental Health
diploma and master degree.

4. Why do you want this job?


From a young age, when I was asked about my goals, I always answered that I wanted to be a teacher.
When I went to college and was taught by the lecturer at that time my dream changed to become a
lecturer.
Lecturer is a very noble choice of profession. Becoming a lecturer not only benefits yourself but also
benefits many people. Can share knowledge and can help others achieve their goals. Working as a
lecturer will give you many rewards. This work is a source of reward that can be used as savings after
death.
Being a lecturer will make you always gain insight. As a lecturer you will always be asked to continue to
learn so that your knowledge is always increasing.

5. What do you know about this company?


Muhammadiyah University of East Kalimantan (UMKT) is one of 172 university campuses owned by
Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah. The campus is located in Samarinda, the capital of the province of East
Kalimantan and in the future will be close to the new capital city of Indonesia. have cooperation with
domestic and foreign universities like Kingston university in UK. Cooperation in Strengthening Human
Resources with the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (Accredited Institution A — Excellent, and
the Best PTS in Indonesia based on the QS Star International Ranking 2016-2018)
Based on the experience of my friend who used to be a lecturer here and he said it was a very good
university in terms of management

6. What is your greatest strength?


I am a responsible person if I have been assigned something including in terms of work, I am not easily
discouraged and willing to learn to improve myself.

7. What is your greatest weakness?


My greatest weakness is I often lose focus when I am occupied with so many tasks. To overcome this, I
came up with a to-do list and time-management system that allows me to organize all my tasks.
Ability in English, especially speaking and writing is still low, therefore I try to improve my skills by
taking online courses, watching English films without subtitles and reading English articles

8. Do you find it difficult to adapt to new situations?


Adaptation is not easy. Of course I will find it difficult to adapt at the beginning.
Based on previous experience, I feel like I’m starting to adapt after working for 1 week.

9. How do you manage stress and pressure?


My first step in managing stress is to try to circumvent it by keeping my work processes very organized,
and my attitude professional.
I also break down my projects into smaller tasks. I make a list of action items with reasonable deadlines.

10. How do you prioritize work?


I always see work from two things: urgency and importance. From those consideration, I will always
start doing work that is urgent and important, then urgent, important, and work that is not in both.

11. Why did you leave your previous job?


I like working there because it's a new experience, getting to know people with different educational and
work backgrounds and being able to visit areas I've never been there before. but its temporary and at this
age i need a permanent job.

12. What kind of work environment do you like best?


I prefer a setting where everyone’s input is taken into consideration because I believe approaching any
project with a range of perspectives is better in the long run.

13. Tell me about a time you failed


I once handled a startup company’s campaign project. I poured all my heart to the project.
But, there was a miscommunication between us. When I presented my draft, they didn’t like it.They asked
me to make a new draft. After we had a long discussion, I could finally make a project that they liked a
lot.”

14. What are your salary expectations?


My salary expectation is between RpX – RpY, which is the average salary for a candidate with my level of
experience in this city.
However, we can discuss more about this.

15. Why should we hire you?


maybe my experience in teaching is still low compared to other candidates but I am always willing to
learn and be responsible in the work that has been mandated. besides that I am a loyal person including
in terms of work especially if the work environment is good.
