Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to be applying to an intern role in digital marketing, as I have been


professionally and academically engaged with the subject. Through my master’s degree in
marketing at King’s College London, bachelor’s degree in media studies and work experience
at Michelin and NXP Semiconductors, I have acquired technical skills in data analysis, social
media campaign implementation, strategic planning, communication, and teamwork skills.

During my previous internships at Michelin, as a media and marketing manager assistant, I


oversaw the creation of a media plan for the National Sellout Campaign in 2020, which
involved creating a marketing plan and finding the best channels and target audiences for
the campaign. During this period, I also had to communicate with tire distributions for
potential collaborations. I was also a part of a brief release for Turkey, Greece, Romania and
Poland, working closely with the advertising agency Havas. Furthermore, during my
internship at NXP Semiconductors, I oversaw LinkedIn job promotions, therefore, keeping a
tight schedule and content writing are skills that I have gained from this experience. Due to
the nature of my studies, I am also familiar with Big Data analysis, employing tools such as
SPSS, R (Studio), Gephi, web designing with HTML, and currently undertaking a Google
Analytics course.

Moreover, because I am a part of the King’s Business School Student Association and various
projects I was assigned to, I understand the value of teamwork and time management. As I
have moved abroad to France and the Netherlands, and was schooled in French and English,
not only do I possess a proficient language level, but I am also open-minded, always excited
for discovering new cultures, challenges, and opportunities.

My interest in digital marketing lies in the fact that it enables highly targeted and
quantifiable campaigns using several internet channels such as search engines, social media,
and email. Furthermore, it enables real-time data analysis and optimization, allowing
marketers to make educated judgments and alter their tactics as needed. Furthermore, it
has a worldwide reach and is easily saleable, making it both cost-effective and efficient.
