Subject: Application for HRIS Consulting at Luxembourg

Dear Madam/Sir,

With my first interaction with the computer at the age of 5, I still remember the 60 MHz processor on
which I played Prince. Since then my interest developed more and at age 12, I assembled my first own CPU.
Computers, softwares and information systems are no stranger to me, in fact they are my oldest friends. Similarly,
further studies in management and my experience in human resources, I believe that my leadership ability,
intellectual curiosity and human centric focus make me a suitable candidate for a HRIS Consultant.

I have had several discussions with EDHEC alumni who have and are working at PwC, notably about the
digitalization projects and the new innovative undertakings of the company. These discussions have often pointed
out the people development and action oriented culture of the company to be the differentiator. Alongside these
informative discussions, I have studied a plethora of the company’s abstracts and reports such as Total Retail to
get a comprehensive picture for m-commerce integration in digital strategy and consumer insights for my
consulting project with Swarovski’s e-commerce division. These factors along with the melting pot of cultures at
Luxembourg enforce my decision to apply at PwC.

With two years of experience as an HR analyst in Tata Housing, one of the leaders in Indian real estate
handling the time and payroll on SAP for 750 employees demonstrates my professional aptitude for the assigned
responsibilites. I also worked as a development executive in employee engagement. Due to my proficiency in
information systems and the early deliverable of process roadmap was I given a supervisory role with the SAP
consultants. Being the youngest in the company, the early leadership opportunity was a major encouragement and
I learned to take responsibility and enhanced my decision taking ability. I was also involved in the HR Connect
surveys, visiting sites pan India to quantitative and qualitative data for creating development programs. During the
process, my empathy and the ability to connect with the individuals was decisive in gathering issues that could
help us better work policies and strengthen work life balance. My leadership ability was further developed in group
projects and my zeal for excellence helped my team finish first in all the competitive projects throughout my two
years of studies.

My curiosity for other disciplines as marketing, finance and strategy motivated me to undertake further
educational pursuits as diploma in banking, SAP certification and Masters in Management in EDHEC. Likewise, in
my gap year, I chose to work in startups in various disciplines to learn the challenges that startups face during its
growth and the dynamics of social media. I worked as a hospitality consultant at Garnet, where I developed market
studies and feasibility reports for contracts development such as franchisee, management reports or a buyout.
Assisting the client to value the hotel property by sales comparable and NPV method was one of the objectives
that was a healthy appetite for my quest for knowledge. In addition, I helped to create a supply chain B2B
application for All About Me to improve the inventory stocking and social media and content creation for Widetrip
to enable higher reach and expand geographical footprint to southern France.

My participation in team and individual sports alongside the wide range of hobbies and interests make me
a very adaptive and social person. Alongside my work, I coached high school students improve in math and
physics. My human orientation comes from my family culture of giving back to the community and goes beyond
the business world sharing knowledge to those who have less access to it. I derive a personal fulfilment from
helping people and a consider it as a chance to learn simplicity from them. A similar culture of benevolence at PwC
will embolden my empathy even more and develop new facets in my professional career and personal life.

I would like to thank you for your time to review my application. I remain at your disposal for any additional
information and look forward to having an audience with you.

Sincerely,
Mimoh JOSHI
