The country of Peru is located in South America.

Some of the main creole dishes you should like in Peru are:
aji de gallina, carapulca, escabeche de pollo, arroz con pollo, tacu-tacu, arroz con
pato, cau cau, lomo saltado, rocoto relleno, tamales, papa rellena, sancochado,
anticuchos, causa a la limeña, among others.

What languages are spoken?


Three official languages are spoken:
Spanish is used by 83.9% of the population.
Quechua is spoken by 13.2% of the population and is used mainly in the Andean
region or altiplano.
Aymara is used by 1.8 percent of the population, mainly in the highlands of Puno
and the highlands of Moquegua and Tacna.

What currency is used?


Peru's currency is the Sol (S/ or PEN). It is divided into 100 cents. There are coins
