Direction: Answer the following question.
1. In your own understanding, what are cookies?
My own understanding of cookies in baking, is a small, flat, sweet, crispy or cake-like pastry
most often made with flour, sugar, liquid, fat and other ingredients. And also cookies can be
prepared in different shapes, flavors and textures, and it can be decorated to improve their
eye appeal or attractiveness of people.

Direction: Identify the following sentences. Choose your answer from the list below.

Dropped Cookies 1. These are made by dropping the dough from a teaspoon onto the
cookie sheet.
Pressed Cookies 2. These are formed by pressing dough through cookie pressed.
Rolled Cookies 3. These are made by rolling out a stiffer on floured board and cutting it with
a cookie cutter.
Molded Cookies 4. These are formed by a rolling a small amount of dough with the hand
Refrigerated Cookies 5. These are made by chilling or freezing the dough.

/ 2. For rolled cookies do not over chill the dough.
