 PROJECT AND ITS BACKGROUND

Project Context

Almost most of us are busy dealing with various things in our daily lives like work,

family, and etc. Ever since different technologies are created, the lives of humans

became much easier since technology are the ones who does their job and we humans

only need to instructor pilot it. Even when booking a flight, it's challenging to manually

go to the airport in order to book a ticket reservation. It consumes more time and it’s

also costly. So we decided to make your booking and flight experience much easier

than before. We proudly present our website "Online Ticket Reservation System of the

Don Carlos, Bukidnon Airport".

Our "Online Ticket Reservation System of the Don Carlos, Bukidnon Airport" website

grants our customers to pay and book their flight ticket. This means that all of our

propable customers can book their flights even if they are on their own house. The

processes includes the flight destination and paying the ticket reservation. We will just

ask for the required valid documents in order to maintain the legality of our system. We

also need to collect the basic information about our customer for validity and updates.

You must create an account in order to use our website. Our website is active anytime

during daytime and nighttime regardless if it's within business hours or not. Our flight

destinations are the following; Cebu, Boracay, Bohol, and Bukidnon. Our website will
give updates through your personal e-mail. You can also check our updates through our

Facebook page "Bukidnon Departure". In here, we post our customers feedback based

on their experience.

Purpose and Description

The purpose of this prototype is to let the people or passengers make their booking

online so that they don't have to waste their time to manually book their flights in the

airport. This will help all the passengers to book a flight with no hassle. This aims to

save time for the passengers especially when they have an emergency and need to

book a flight as soon as possible. We also put details of the destinations in order to give

the passengers the information they needed to know about the place they want to

travel.

Objective of the Study

The objectives of this prototype are the following:

1. To develop a system where the customers can book their flight through a website.

2. To let the passengers book a flight anytime and anywhere as long as they have a

device and an internet connection.

3. To promote social distancing and in order to avoid physical contact especially in

these times of pandemic.

4. To avoid conflicts that will be surely encountered in the manual process.

5. To give customers real-time updates about their flight through our website.

Significance of the Study

This prototype will be beneficial to our probable customers since it's hassle free and

they can save time. They don't longer need to manually book a flight in our airport. The

difficulties by increased demand for air travel have occasioned a transition between

manual reservation systems to online reservation systems. The development of this

prototype will also help our company to lessen our staffs, reduced the conflicts

experienced through manual booking, and for is to gain a big profit. This prototype will

be a win-win situation for us and for our probable customers that wants to travel.

Scope and Limitation

This proposed system will be a huge help in every aspect. Specially all of the travelers

here in Bukidnon and other neighboring cities here in Mindanao. This will also help the

staffs and admins to reduce their load work. The scope of our proposed system will be

on just 4 places namely; Bukidnon, Cebu, Bohol, and Boracay.
