BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - 03

“A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE HON.

CONGRESSMAN FERDINAND ALEXANDER “SANDRO” ARANETA MARCOS, SENIOR DEPUTY
MAJORITY LEADER AND CONGRESSMAN, FIRST DISTRICT OF ILOCOS NORTE, AN ALLOCATION OF
FIVE MILLION PESOS (Php. 5,000,000.00) FUND INTENDED FOR CONTINUING CONSTRUCTION OF
THE BARANGAY COVERED COURT OF BARANGAY # 24 ALSEM, VINTAR, ILOCOS NORTE”

WHEREAS, the Barangay #24 Alsem, Vintar has an existing Covered Court which located near
the Barangay Hall, however, said covered court is not yet fully constructed due to there is no available
appropriation for the said projects;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council identified the Covered Court project in order to better serve
and offer an accessible venue for the Barangay Government or any government agencies, as well as any
private groups or individuals, to conduct programs, activities, and other relevant events;

WHEREAS, said project is a priority project of this barangay, however it cannot be realized due to
insufficient funds for the continuation of construction;
 WHEREAS, The Barangay Covered Court is in high demand for a suitable and convenient
location to gather the barangay people of Barangay #24 Alsem, Vintar, Ilocos Norte, particularly in the
conduct and implementation of general assemblies and service-related programs and initiatives;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay resolved to seek the help of Hon. Congressman Ferdinand
Alexander “Sandro” Araneta Marcos for the construction of the Barangay Covered Court, him being the only
person who can ensure that this Sangguniang Barangay priority projects is realized and that work begins as
soon as feasible to his funding.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Rolando J. Tolentino, unanimously seconded, it was;

RESOLVED as it is hereby RESOLVED to request HON. FERDINAND ALEXANDER “SANDRO”

ARANETA MARCOS TO FINANCIALLY ASSIST THE BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF ALSEM,
VINTAR FOR CONTINUING THE CONSTRUCTION OF BARANGAY COVERED COURT OF
BARANGAY #24 ALSEM, VINTAR, ILOCOS NORTE.

RESOLVED FURTHER to transcribe copies of this Resolution to be furnished same to the Office
of the Congressman of the Republic of the Philippines GSIS Building Pasay City and others concerned for
their information and considerate actions.
