MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

This agreement made into this 17 th day of August 2022 at Rizal

Comprehensive National High School, Rizal, Quirino, Isabela, by and
between:

The RIZAL COMPREHENSIVE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, a Public

Secondary School under the Department of Education, Regional Office 02,
with address at Rizal, Quirino, Isabela, represented by its School Principal
IV, HERMINIO C. TOMINES, EdD, herein referred to as FIRST PARTY;

-and-

I, all teachers and stakeholders of Rizal Comprehensive National High

School, hereinafter as the SECOND PARTY;

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, DepEd Memorandum No.095, s 2018, “Sustaining the

Implementation of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program in Public
Elementary and Secondary Schools Nationwide”, and as part of the OK
sa DepEd Program of the Department of Education was enacted to
encourage external stakeholders to assist in the delivery of better-quality
education to public schools in the country, particularly in poverty-stricken
provinces;

WHEREAS, RCNHS believes that one way to increase the production

of Agricultural products and augment our expenses in buying our needs is
to implement program that teaches learners and other people on the
importance of having a backyard garden and we can start in the school
since it is the basic foundation of skills and learning.

WHEREAS, the school needs community volunteers who may come

from parents, GPTA, barangay officials/employees, alumni, and other
volunteers to successfully implement the program;

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises

and the terms and conditions herein set forth, the parties hereby agree as
follows:
Section 1. Description

The Project, known as GULAYAN SA PAARALAN PROGRAM, is a

partnership endeavor of the Rizal Comprehensive National High School,
GPTA, and its nearby communities, specifically the six Barangays namely:
Rizal, Camaal, Villa Bulusan, Binarzang of Quirino, Isabela and Barangay
Quiling and Dona Concha of Roxas, Isabela. It is a concerted effort of all
internal and external stakeholders to help in promoting and providing
interest of learners in producing vegetables and other crops.

Section 2: Rights and Responsibilities of the PARTY B

PARTY B Shall:
a. Assist the school in implementing the program by providing
community volunteers;
b. Ensure that all parents and stakeholders are aware of the
program through proper communication; and
c. Observe the strict implementation of IATF protocols in close
coordination with FIRST PARTY

Section 3: Rights and Obligations of PARTY A

PARTY A Shall:
a. Ensure proper information dissemination and appropriate
communication protocols with SECOND PARTY;
b. Provide directions to the implementation of the program;
c. Coordinate with SECOND PARTY in the implementation of
the program;

Section 4: Scope of the Project

RCNHS and the six feeder barangays namely: Rizal, Camaal, Villa
Bulusan, Binarzang of Quirino, Isabela and Barangay Quiling and Dona
Concha of Roxas, Isabela will be the recipients of the program.

Section 5: Project Cost

The estimated cost of the program implementation is P 2,000.00.
