Director TheHive accelerator and Gvahim entrepreneurship programs

Reporting to Gvahim’s CEO, The Director will be responsible for managing three existing entrepreneurship
programs and develop new programs/activities supporting Olim entrepreneurs:
- TheHive TelAviv a unique accelerator program that supports new Olim entrepreneurs create and develop
technological startups
- TheHive Ashdod in cooperation with Ashdod Municipality
- TheNest, a business accelerator for small businesses and freelancers in cooperation with Wix

Responsibilities

● Responsible for planning and executing the accelerator programs including:

○ Leading a team of up to four people to run the programs
○ Manage the program’s Steering Committee and a pool of over 200 mentors and partners
○ Designing and implementing a robust communications strategy to promote the program
○ Developing and implementing the program’s content and syllabus
○ Ongoing mentorship of program participants
○ Linking program participants with potential investors

● In partnership with Gvahim’s CEO:

○ The Director will play a leading role in identifying potential sources of capital and working with
Gvahim management to develop and implement a strategy for making the accelerator
financially self-sustainable beyond 2018.
○ Identify unmet needs of Olim entrepreneurs and develop additional programs and
partnerships to address these needs.

Full time position.

Based in Tel Aviv. With frequent travels to Ashdod.

Profile

● At least five years of professional experience in the business field, preferably in a

startup/accelerator/VC
● Minimum BA Degree. Business Administration or Entrepreneurship background a plus
● Proven record in creating partnerships and raising funds. Experience in nonprofit a plus.
● A passion for networking and connecting;
● Self-motivated and self-starter who thrives on high levels of personal responsibility and is able to
execute
● Interest in entrepreneurship and start-up businesses;
● Resourceful and team player
● Excellent English and Hebrew written and verbal communication skills. Other languages – advantage.
