Scope of the Role


The Global HR Business Partner will take ownership of the resource and HR strategy
globally across the company, covering the full remit of generalist HR activites and HR
strategy globally across the company, including recruitment, onboarding, policy
development, personal growth planning, employee relations, DE&I and learning and
development.

Building on current HR process and documentation, the Global HR Business Partner will
support the full employee journey and will be a key HR strategist for the business in factoring
in the long-term people goals and acknowledge that people play a huge role in a company’s
future successes. It will be key to promote Talking Talent’s brand and values throughout.

As well as providing HR Strategy and vision, the Global HR Business Partner will be
responsible for providing full HR operational support with employee policies and handbooks,
team events, training and upskilling, employee engagement surveys, the personal growth
programme and communication to support these key people initiatives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Talent/People Operations
• Ensure all HR aspects globally are coordinated and centralised
• Keep all HR/employee manual/policies “global but local” and updated continuously
• Perform Internal Audits throughout the business to ensure compliance
• Provide Employment Law advice to local market
• Provide practical HR support, guidance and training to managers/staff as applicable
• Build training/upskilling programmes into the annual budget and implement comms to
plan
• Maintain accurate and well-organised HR records using our UK and US HRIS
• Partnering with heads of department and local HR teams to own all people operations
processes including performance review cycles; compensation reviews and planning;
benefits administration; legal and regulatory compliance as it relates to employment,
etc.,
• Manage onboarding & offboarding including induction and exit interviews/HR related
issues with external support if required
• Ensure all employees and affiliates are up to date on GDPR and Privacy Requirements.

Talent Acquisition & Resourcing


• Be the primary contact for the Board and leadership teams on all resource forecasting
activity against resource plan and timelines
• Work with key stakeholders to understand their recruitment needs ensuring all are
budgeted
• Create and implement an efficient global talent acquisition strategy and work with HR /
Operations Teams globally to support implementation
• Implement onboarding procedures to enhance new joiners orientation and integration
into the business locally and globally for both employees and contractors
• Own the end-to-end recruitment process from creation of Job Descriptions through to
employee and affiliate contract negotiations, offer letters and background checks etc.
• Work closely with recruitment specialists and negotiate rates and ways of working
• Own the rejection process and delivery of feedback
• Apply strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates to all areas of the business
• Work closely with senior leaders to understand the workflow pipeline to include affiliate
(contract) resource needs
• Work with our international coaching affiliations and networks to resource affiliate talent

Growing Talent
• Create, communicate, collate and analyse employee engagement survey and sharing
with the business as well as working with key stakeholders to improve outcomes
• Build a communication plan to share with Talent globally on policies, programmes and
tips and tricks to support Talent Engagement using Idea boards, Taskforces etc.
• Create a L&D strategy to develop internal capability and develop capability in like with
changing JD’s as we grow
• Working closely with the Heads of department to check in on the pulse of the business to
support what more can be done to retain and enhance Talent Engagement
• Manage the annual Personal Growth Planning process to ensure full engagement,
participation and review
• Take ownership and co-ordination of Internal DE&I and Culture & Connection initiatives
in conjunction with the DE&I Council and Culture & Connection Committee
Person Specification
Ideally, a proven experience in a similar position within the Coaching Sector and have
demonstrable exposure across full end-to-end recruitment and employee relations. You will
have high levels of organisation and detail, be able to juggle tasks efficiently and work calmly
under pressure. As an HR Business Partner, you will be a highly approachable, friendly, and
supportive person, who offers an open and honest work ethic.

Other key attributes:

• CIPD level 7 and/or master's level HR qualification


• UK employment law and right to work experience
• Experience of working at a senior HR level within a Global organisation
• Good understanding of local labour law to global offices
• Experience of managing TUPE transfers and supporting mergers and acquisitions
• 100% hands on approach, experience working within a fast-paced, growing business
• Strong stakeholder engagement and expectation management
• Ability to interpret and communicate employee data and apply the relevant insight
towards positive outcomes
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing
• A fantastic collaborative team player – who people love to work with, whether locally,
globally, and remotely
• A creative flexible thinker, always thinking “how can we”
• Understanding/experience with personality and psychometric profiles (optimal not
essential)
• A pragmatic approach to change, agile and adaptable
• L&D experience desirable both development of the learning strategy and the ability to
deliver and design as ideal
• Strong MS Office skills

• Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
