What's the role?

We’re looking for the next generation of high-performing, multi-lingual, post-graduate talents to take our
company forward. Hilti Outperformer is a global management development program like no other. Over a two-
year period, we'll prepare you for a global leadership career by putting you right in the center of our customer-
focused business model.

What does the role involve?

Hilti Outperformer is a two-year rotational program. As an Account Manager in the first year, you'll learn
everything about our customers and how to meet their needs; in the second year of the program you'll get
involved with various business critical assignments. From the start, you'll be working with colleagues from
around the world, gaining exposure to senior management as well as having a mentor. This means joining
meetings with board members and attending global summits as part of a high-performing team. You'll also do
a program at IMD business school in Switzerland, and take part in a life-changing social project. 

The program is split into four main stages of work:

12 months as an account manager or field engineer in the country where you apply.
3 months on an operational project in the country where you apply.
6 months on a strategic project at META regional headquarters.
3 months on an international project outside the region.

part in some fascinating courses and events:
 
Leadership development program – a comprehensive learning journey with IMD business school in
Lausanne, Switzerland, with a qualification from IMD.
Individual training at Hilti - a focus on behavioral profiles, personal strengths, leadership styles and
communication skills.   
Global summit – 4-5 days at our global headquarters in Liechtenstein. A look at the way global business
units function, plus soft skills like situational leadership and international teamwork.
Social project – 7-8 days ‘building a better future’. A hands-on and hugely impactful community project, like
our recent house building for displaced refugees in Bosnia.

We would love to hear from you if:

You hold a master’s degree (finance, engineering, business administration, marketing, international
mangagement).
You're multilingual – fluent in English and at least one other language
You have gained international experience through your work or studies and have spent between 3 months
and 3 years in a professional environment.
You enjoy learning and are mature, assertive, curious and dedicated.
You’re a flexible team player, with good communication and social skills, and you can inspire others.
You’re internationally mobile. A global thinker who is keen for diverse cultural experiences and opportunity
to work abroad.

If you're suitable for the program, the interview process will consist of interviews with HR and senior
management, and a ‘field ride’ to experience a day in the life of a Hilti Account Manager. If that goes well, you
will be invited to a regional assessment center which takes place in Dubai on April 10-11, 2018.
