The Project:

Health is a fundamental right guaranteed to all citizens by our constitution. Healthcare, on the other
hand, is determined by what each citizen can afford. In our society, health inequity is very visible.
In our country, the standard of health care for the wealthy differs greatly from that for the poor, and
this disparity is growing. Every country, developed or developing, considers public health to be a
major policy issue. Improving health conditions in developing countries is also a top priority for the
international community, both public and private.
Health care facilities are critical components of the overall health-care system. The national
government's goal has been to provide essential health services that are accessible, affordable,
and equitable. Despite the national government's claims of progress, the country's public
healthcare system is riddled with flaws. Some of these issues include a lack of health personnel, a
lack of adequate facilities,

Architectural character
Sustainable Tropical Architecture
Tropical architecture is the design that focuses and responds to the climatic conditions of the
tropics. It studies the significant influences that impact architecture in tropical regions and develops
passive strategies to lessen heat gain. It also encourages air movement through a home or
building.
In order to improve building performance, sustainable design aims to lessen adverse effects on the
environment, as well as the health and comfort of building inhabitants. Reduced use of non-
renewable resources, reduced waste, and the creation of healthy, productive environments are the
main goals of sustainability.

Problem statement:
The majority of Filipinos do not have access to basic healthcare facilities. They lack facilities to
meet the healthcare needs of the population, particularly in provinces. Medical bills are one of the
issues. Because there aren't as many public hospitals, particularly in the provinces, more Filipinos
are forced to bear the burden of failing health.
The project intends to address the following:
 What kind of accommodations will the project provide for various patients?
 Will this proposed project be able to meet all general healthcare needs?
 What architectural design is appropriate for the project?
Project Objective:
The project's goal is to provide and construct a medical facility capable of providing high-quality
medical care and accommodating various types of treatments and surgeries. This project proposal
will benefit a large number of provincial residents by providing financial and health-care
services/treatments.
 To provide the first hospital accommodation in the country and to meet the needs of
various patients.
 To provide patients with a wide range of health services and high-quality health care.

Design Process:
The design process begins with identifying the problems that must be solved, improved upon, or a
new solution proposed. The second step is to locate and collect information and data relevant to
the process and the project. The third step is to interpret the data gathered in the previous step and
analyze it to determine how it will supplement the project's solution. The fourth step is to develop a
solution based on preliminary ideas and data analysis. The fifth step is to seek advice and
consultations from the assigned adviser in order to gain insight from an experienced individual
other than the proponent. The final step is to improve and collaborate the ideas and suggestions
from the consultation with the proponent's enlighten ideas and information to achieve the desired
results. As a result, all combined data and information from the process must be implemented.
