Criminal Procedure

Criminology refers to the technical study of nature, degree, organization, causes,

mitigation, repercussions and as well pre-emption of the behaviors exhibited by the criminals

both on the social besides individual levels. Being an interdisciplinary department, criminology

plays a critical role in both social and behavioral sciences which majorly focuses on the research

done by psychologists, philosophers, sociologists, psychiatrists, social anthropologists not

forgetting the law scholars.

Terrorists intend to use various techniques of justification in order to maximize the

ideological appeal. Justification is a term that basically refers to making something look

righteous even if it is not. It is a profound trait that most terrorist gangs use justification as a way

to make violent attacks to look legit. According to Britz a clear explanation of the concept of

justification, whereby different groups undergo an examination to define how they end up the

violence (p.96). In the whole world there are various ideologies that act as catalysts to fuel hatred

and at the same time ignite wars that have taken place in centuries. For example the case of the

Germany Nazism conviction is clear evidence that horrific crimes take place against humanity.

And again the Nazis justification leads to the belief that everything is okay and the way of living.

Britz argues that political violence mostly escalates due to the essence of political

activism resulting from the political groups as well as individuals who do not use the political

dialogue well to communicate properly (p.84).
