NAME OF THE PROJECT: COMPREHENSIVE PROJECT
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT WORK
To enable a student to complete the accounting process in a real business like situation of a sole
proprietorship and to develop the competence to analyse and interpret the accounting data.
The students will be allowed to select any business of their choice or develop the transactions of imaginary
business. The amounts should emerge as more realistic and closer to reality. Project work when completed
shall have to be presented for evaluation in a file, in an attractive format using Bar Diagram, pie chart and
line diagram etc.
Project File should contain the following information:
1) Cover page should project the title, student’s information, School’s name, year.
2) Certificate
3) Acknowledgement
4) Index
5) Introduction and objectives of the project work.
6) Story line of the entrepreneur and business
7) Transactions (35 to 40)
8) Journal
9) Ledger
10) Trial Balance
11) Adjustments (7 to 8)
12) Financial Statements
13) Ratio Analysis, Bar Diagram and pie chart
14) Conclusion
WORK SHOULD BE DONE NEATLY AND NO LATE SUBMISSION WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
