Section # - Group #

Coming up for a good experimental research topic is one of the most

difficult tasks in the whole processing of conducting the research we had. Choosing

the topic than would suit our group and that would be the easiest topic for us is

challenging, especially at introductory of it. It will be very difficult to explain a

research topic if the group have no sufficient knowledge about the topic we choose.

The most important thing that our group have think of is that we are doing

research, so we are not allowed to make a statement about what we want to prove

and then go find evidence that support our claim. Instead, we have investigated

articles that interested us the most, read about it, and then take a stance on the

subject we saw based on what we’ve learned about it.

The research problem we encountered within the time studying for the

subject is that if the leaves of the atis, or the Annona squamosa would help to create

antibacterial essence that can be used to make hand sanitizer. By this, we started to

formulate steps on how we could investigate literatures that will help us formulate

the research objectives overall. The research objectives that our group wanted to

aim is that we wanted to provide the leaves of Annona squamosa potential to assess

its antibacterial activity into creating a hand sanitizer. But of course, before actually
having this objective of the study we are conducting, we read few research that has

to do with the topic we wanted to study about. We look into further deep of this

research to be able for us to come up for the possible significance of our own

research we are conducting. As soon as we already established the significance of

the study, we enable to provide the research objective to reach.

After conducting these steps to be able to come up for the research topic

and research objectives of our study, we have learned that, providing for the initial

activities for the research is one of the toughest activities in conducting the

research itself. We learned how to properly use sources that could help us come up

for the topic and all sorts of information seeking to be able to provide the initial

information to provide the description of our study. We also have learned how to

differentiate our resources in able to provided more justifiable explanation and

description of the research subject we have choose.
