I love and admire all the family member equally. But if I had to choose one of them that I admire
the most, I would talk about my dad. Cuz I study far from home so I just can see my dad twice a
month. My dad is a very hard-working person. He gets up pretty early, at about 4.30 and 5 every
morning. He often does exercise and has quick breakfast then goes to the hospital. He works 8 or
10 hours a day. Although my dad has to work super hard but I have never heard him complain
about it. That’s the first reason why I really admire him.

He always put his family first. Although he has to works hard but e always make time for his
family. And he is a good role model for me. That’s all!

3. What type of family do you like (nuclear family or extended family)? Why?
I like nuclear family. Living in a nuclear family is more comfortable than in an extended family

1. How have special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and graduation days changed
in your country?
In the past, when a man and woman decided to get married, they used to go to a monk
and followed some traditional rituals to become husband and wife. Now they need to
register the marriage from a marriage registrar to be declared as husband and wife.
2. Do you think special occasions and festivals are important for a society?
I think definitely yes, festivals are surely the binding force for the society. In lives of people
who are truly dissatisfied, festivals bring in the hope of something good and something new.
Most people forget their issues and come together to celebrate a festival. Even more, with
prayers being associated with each of the festivals, they bring about so much positivity in life.
3. What do cameras and videos play in celebrating?

I was born and grew up in Thai Binh which is a province located in the Northen area of Vietnam.
However, I have been in Ha Noi since I was in university. My parents still live in my hometown and I
visit their home every month. My hometown is both traditional and modern. On the one hand, tradition
is preserved by a number of festivals celebrated by local people, and the locals and authorities preserve
the historical sites for tourism and education.
On the other hand, a whole lot of high-rise buildings as residential places or shopping malls are built,
which turns our little hometown into a worth-living place. People in my country almost grow paddy,
raise animal,… In my heart, I love the town I was born in.
