Claudine is a one-size pattern. You can refer to the size
table below. This boho summer dress is perfect for the
beach and will surely make an unforgettable addition to
your wardrobe. It can be made longer as a maxi dress or
as a top (see length suggested on the pattern) and can
also be worn with the opening on the front or on the
back. The seams allowance of 1.5 cm are included, unless
otherwise stated in your instructions so there is no need
to add extra fabric to your pattern.

Waist 117 cm

Your Shopping List

 Fabric: 270 cm (top option: 195 cm)
 Needle: Regular size 14
 Elastic (0.50 cm wide): 38 cm
 Double Fold Tape: 123 cm

Fabric
I recommend choosing a light fabric, such as cotton or
linen, viscose, or muslin. It’s also possible to use a
semitransparent delicate fabric and add a lining, either
black or white depending of the fabric you chose. Don’t
hesitate to try new things and use different textures or
materials for your project.

Lexicon
Right side: The printed or pretty surface of the fabric.
Normally you sew things with right sides together. This
way the stitching will be on the inside of the finished
project.
Wrong side: The other surface which not pretty.

Instructions
To get started on your new project, you will need to wash
your fabric carefully! This is an important step since
organic fabrics can shrink after being washed.
Start by laying down the pattern on your fabric and begin
cutting the pieces. You can either use pins or weights to
keep the fabric stable on your cutting table. Personally, I
use cups or even my wallet to keep the fabric from
moving. Moreover, you will have to transfer the
information from the pattern on your pieces of fabric
(gather, darts, etc.). This information will be important
to remember in the upcoming steps. To mark your fabric,
I recommend using colour pencils or soap.

Sewing the Cords

Start with the cords
(E). Fold cords in
half lengthwise, on
the right side.
Stitch along the
edge, leaving one
end open to turn.
