Question paper entry in CodeTantra – User guide

Step 1 : Select your Question paper entry page by using unique id

1 Do not change the maximum mark( it should be 100 )


2 Do not change the maximum time ( it should be 180 minutes)
3 Click here to add Section, You can name it as Part – A or Part – B for each section as given in the below figure.
STEP 2: Section Name

4 Place to give the name of the section like Part – A , Part – B . Do not type like ‘Answer any Five’ etc.
Step 3: Instructions to be printed in the Question paper

5 General instruction and instructions specific to the question paper like usage of graph sheet and data book requirement may be specified in the
place. We will do the graph sheet, tables arrangement based on the instruction given to the student. It will be printed in the Question paper.
Do not give the statistical table content.
Step 4: Add more questions and More sections

6 As per the name given in the section, it will be displayed


7 You can specify the mark for each question in the place
8 Total no of questions under the specific section (Ex: Answer any 5 out of 7 , here you should give 7) – display only
9 Specify the total no of questions should answer by students(Ex: Answer any 5 out of 7, here you should give 5).
Step 9 should be set after adding enough number of questions under the specific section
10 Click here to add more questions if you want to include the question with same marks/category.
11 Click here to add more sections if you want to include more section with different mark category.

14. Rubric is mandatory if the allotted mark for each question is greater than or equal to 10.
Step 6: Linking Question paper (to assign the common question paper with other class numbers)
For the common question paper, one can enter the question paper in CT and use the option given in the CT(see the
figure) to send the invitation link to other faculty members with same slot and course code. They have to accept the
invitation to view the question paper content. Linking the common question paper should be done before submit the
question paper for review. Linked question papers are non-editable and not required to freeze separately.
