III. What are the Physical and the Psychological effects of Abortion on a woman concerned.
Physiologically, the woman who committed abortion may lead to a complication if it’s
not performed correctly. It can cause damage to her reproductive system and it might
affect her chance to conceive a baby if she would want to. On the other hand, there will
be a possibility that she would feel dirty and used as well as feel degraded and
embarrassed. She may feel outcast or judged by other people and might feel unsecured
to get along with others. Furthermore, it will affect her psychological aspect in a way
that she will think of it every now and then what she have committed. Moreover,
abortion may affect a woman by developing mental illnesses such as depression,
trauma, and anxiety disorder due to what she has committed. Thus, this may result to
the woman to resort into a violent behaviour by inflicting pain towards herself or to
those people around her. Lastly, she will more likely experience lower life satisfaction,
lower self-esteem and self confidence and blame herself for the rest of her life.
