Activity 1 – Episode 2

Learning Activities:
1. Reflect on your own philosophy of education. Choose 3 philosophies that you believe in,
identify and explain why using a photo essay.

2. Interview an experienced teacher about his/her philosophies as a teacher.

3. Upon answering question number 1, have you discovered your dominant philosophy of
education? How do you feel after knowing it? Is your philosophy or firm belief of
education reflected in what you are doing as a future teacher?

4. In the interview conducted to some experienced teachers, do they practice what they
believe in actual teaching? If Yes, describe the instance. If No, what could be the
reason?

5. Have a clear discussion of your answers, do not forget to include your documentation.
