PK Movie Reflection

The movie is about an alien comes to the earth naked on an examine mission in India, the

story of the PK movie start when the remote control of his spaceship is stolen. He worked on

getting the thief's who stole his spaceship remote. On the same day in Jaggu meets Sarfaraz and

falls in love with him. Jaggu's father objects Jaggu relationship because Sarfaraz is a fro Pakistan

and he is Muslim, while Jaggu is a Hindu. He consults godman Maharaj who predicts that

Sarfaraz will deceive Jaggu in future. Jaggu decided to get married with Sarfaraz, but what

happen is She is heartbroken at the wedding when she receives a letter says off the marriage

causes to their cultural differences. From this part of the movie I found that There are trillions of

people spread over the earth. All the people are alike in view of the exterior but they are

completely different in view of the interior. They could be different in life style, languages, place

of live, religion and many things that could be obvious to the people or unclear. However, from

these differences people can specify the category that they can live with. Also sometimes the

things in life such as families or the period of life decide which category the person should live

with. For example, for illustrate, when Jaggu’s father rejects Jaggu’s relationship because the

differences between their families believes and their lifestyle. Most of the time tribes put some

roles stoop under there believes and follows these believes without the search for credibility. The

reason is these believes are depend to the god, so they don't have to search beyond the god.

Jaggu comes back to her country India and becomes a television reporter. She meets the alien

when he distributes leaflets about the "missing" Gods. And she saves him when he tries to take

money from a god donation box, earning his trust. The alien tells her that he is a looking for

scientist from another planet. His people in his planet don’t know about dressing, religion or

verbal communication. And they transfer ideas by holding other hands. The alien learned to fit in

among humans by wearing clothes and using money stolen from couples in a "dancing cars".

After being hit by a truck, the alien is befriended by bandmaster, after that bandmaster takes him

along with his band. The alien attempts to learn to communicate by grabbing peoples' hands but

people dislodge him away, believing him to be a pervert. The bandmaster takes him to a brothel,

where the alien holds a prostitute's hand for six hours and thus learns the Bhojpuri language. The

bandmaster has a conversation with the alien, and suggests that the thief may be in Delhi. The

alien leaves for Delhi. Due to his strange behavior, the people assume he is drunk and call him

"PK" (mean "drunk" in Hindi language). He asks the people in Delhi about his stolen remote and

the People tell him that only "God" can help him find his remote. PK searching for the god

sincerely in all Indian religion, without any benefit. My reaction toward this part of the movie is

there are a lot of religions in this world. Every one born in this world born without any mark or

sign represents which religions he or she depends. Most of the religions restrict through the

society which the person depends to. Every religion has a specific stereotype. Some of these

stereotypes are correct and some of these are not correct. The stereotypes which incorrect are not

depend to the religion, but most of incorrect stereotypes can be created by the person itself. For

example, from the movie, the old man who lie to the PK that he need money for his sick wife but

the true is he need money for his wife’s birthday. In this part shows that the religion which the

old man depends on not urges lying. However, the old man reflects his religion in bad way. From

this movie I notice how importance for the clerics to show they principles and ethics to the

normal people, and that to reflect a good picture of the religion to another religion. The reason is

the people who listen to the clerics will take the principle and ethics from them.

PK later discovers that Tapasvi has his remote, who claims it was a gift from God, and refuses

to return the remote. Jaggu promises PK that she will return his remote and he can go back home.

PK adjective that Tapasvi and other godmen must be calling a "wrong number" to communicate

with God, and are therefore advising the public to engage in no meaning in rituals. Jaggu

supports the public by sending their videos to her news channel. This "wrong number" campaign

turns into a popular media, to the dread of Tapasvi. After that, bandmaster finds the thief and

contacts PK, telling him that he sold his remote control to Tapasvi, after which PK realises that

Tapasvi was a deceit all time and that it wasn't a "wrong number". The bandmaster informs him

that they will come to Delhi, but both die in a terrorist attack which done by Tapasvi's group to

protect their Gods. Tapasvi decides to struggle PK on TV live by asks PK what the "right

number" is. PK says that "God that created us all" is the only concept people should believe in,

and that the others are created by man. Tapasvi dispute, saying that PK is trying to avoid people

from their Gods. He claims that he has a direct connection to God and refers to his prediction of

Sarfaraz's treason to prove that Muslims are liars, but PK disagrees. PK notice that the person

who wrote the litter is not Sarfaraz. Jaggu call to the Pakistani Embassy where Sarfaraz worke.

The embassy tells her that Sarfaraz still loves her, and transfers the line to Sarfaraz, who is now

living in Lahore. Jaggu and Sarfaraz reconnect, and Tapasvi is forced to return PK's remote. My

reaction this part of the movie is there are a lot of people pretend that they are mediator to the

god and these people pretend bad background to the religion which they belong to. Also they

exploiting the other people such as poor people and in need people. For example, taking their

money or making people killing each other claiming for saving the religion and protect the god

But all these habits are incorrect. The correct is clerics should pretend their religions in a good

way without any money steeling or claiming to kill each other. Whenever people react a good

habit the world will be safe and the peace will spread everywhere. By that all people will respect

each other and will love each other. The god creates people not people create the god. The god

will protect people not people protect the god.

Over all, the movie is very nice and enjoyable. There a lot of advantages, such as the way that

present one of the big issue in our society which is difference between the religions and believes.

The movie mix between the comedian and the indeed. In addition, Indians movies is one of my

favorite movie I like the Indians music and the direct of the movie, Also the most part I like it is

the fashion “the colors and the style of their clothes. The one things that I found it hard to

recognized is the India English language. After seeing PK movie I think India has a variety

societies, variety religions variety cultures. Also now I understand why India have many

languages, the reason is these varieties. I see myself that I will see PK movie again and again.
