Global environmental issues are the responsibility of rich nations, not of poorer nations.

agree with this opinion?

According to the latest research conducted by the World health organization, it has been questioned
whether nations living in indigence are liable for the planet health issues we are facing, or the
wealthier countries are to blame? I strongly believe that wealthy nations should be held accountable
for the mentioned problem, because they are a cause of irreversible climate change and they almost
completely drained world’s natural resources.

To begin with an irreversible climate change that we are facing. Richer nations were first to go
through industrialization, which came with harmful pollutants. Effects of that were loss of
biodiversity and habitat for animals and plants, ozone layer depletion and even premature deaths
because of harmful substances people get to breathe into their lungs every day. Wealthy nations
want to build more urban environment, not caring about harming other living beings, but only caring
for bettering their economy. Unfortunately, it became destructive for everyone, and we do not have
a lot of time for fixing the problem.

Another important point is that they have managed to almost completely drain some of our biggest
natural resources who were harmful to begin with. This resulted in ruining our ecosystem and
causing the greenhouse effect. The only positive outcome from all of this was that they have had to
come up with other solutions, and those came out to be good for our planet, and nonharmful, such
as renewable energy like solar panels and wind.

All things considered, majority of environmental issues comes from richer nations, because of their
power to have control over these meters. There is not much time anymore to be careless about the
environment, and we will have to take a better care of our planet.
