Develop an ordinance that various activities for youth every “Youth Day” will be conducted yearly
which includes:

*A seminar that talks about various issues and solution in environment

*Tree Planting Activity

*Workshop for Recycling

*Conducting activities such as filmmaking, poster making activity, spoken word poetry conpetition and
photography contest

*Having seminar in the upland areas (ex. Idigenous Community) by the youth and future educators.

2. Conducting Parol Making Contest during Christmas Season using Recycled Materials.

3. Clean-up Drive every month on rivers, canals and coastline areas.

4. Develop an ordinance which requires every houses to separate their biodegradable and non-
biodegradable wastes. Moreover, the non-biodegradable wastes must be brought to Barangay for it to
be recycled.

5. Having Livelihood Program for Youth who recycle non-biodegradable waste.

6. Organize a group of youth from the barangay whom lead the protection and will be the allies of
employees under the government in protecting the environment.

7. Conducting a “Donation Drive” of used clothes to be donated on those in need (ex. Indigenous
Community).
8. Develop an ordinance prohibiting to litter wastes in not proper places.

9. Establish a place where youth from Barangay conduct their meetings and the venue also contains
recycled materials as displayed and it is a place where information can be found because of the
infographics, bulletins scattered everywhere. This will be the place where explaining the urgency of
protecting environment is important, a place to be aware and to create change.
