• United States has announced a nuclear fusion breakthrough, a historic step towards the
limitless clean energy that may help to curb climate change. It is produced by the researchers
of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California.

• A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket was carried into space – the first ever Arab built lunar spacecraft.
It was launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The Rashid Rover was
built by Dubai’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre in the UAE, engineered by Japanese lunar
exploration company ispace.

1. Fake ChatGPT apps flooding app stores As the Open AI chatbot, ChatGPT3, continues to
surge in popularity, some developers are trying to make money by creating fake versions of the
app such as: GPT AI Chat - Chatbot Assistant, ChatGPT 3: Chat GPT AI, Talk GPT - Talk to
ChatGPT, GPT Writing Assistant, AI Chat, PersonAI - Advanced chatbot both on the Apple
App Store and the Google Play Store.

2. India to introduce new Digital Act to protect children from the dangers of internet Under the
Digital India Act, cyberbullying and the sharing of personal information without consent will
be considered criminal acts, and violators will be subject to severe penalties. The new Bill
will replace the Information Technology Act, 2000, which is currently India's core legal
framework that regulates entities on the Internet.
3. 2 December 2022:-Amazon Web Services (AWS) successfully deploys a range of its
computing and machine learning (ML) software’s on a satellite in orbit. The feat was
achieved in collaboration with space logistics company D-Orbit and AI automation
firm Unibap.
4. Edge computing – Bringing computing capabilities outside of the data center, closer to
where the data is being created or used – represents the next reality. With the growing
demand on network infrastructure and the advent of 5G, edge computing becomes a
must, replacing cloud computing, to reduce the requirement on the infrastructure, get
much faster insights from available data and deliver new and better services to end
