In today's world, taking risks is essential in both individuals’ personal and

professional lives. Overall, this situation has surely come up with both
benefits and drawbacks.
First, working in positions with more responsibility and uncertainty requires
more pressure. People should therefore accept uncertainty if they wish to
have higher-paying jobs and wages. As opposed to a regular employee, a
manager, for instance, makes more money. A further benefit of taking
chances is that it forces people to develop their talents over time by
creating situations that encourage them. In other words, when people
create new settings and embrace the unknown, they become better
versions of themselves. For example, a guy will develop his leadership
skills over time if he takes the position of leader despite having no prior
experience in the role.
However, taking risks has some dangers, such as failure and family loss.
Taking risks has the clear drawback of failure. As a result, those who take a
risky course of action may experience failure more frequently than others.
Another issue is the likelihood of losing family members increases while
accepting personal risks. For instance, if parents do not set aside a certain
amount of money for an emergency, their children may become ill and pass
away as a result of the lack of money.
To sum up, while taking risks has ensured several unwanted results, I
believe that it brings more pros than cons.
