DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

I, ARMANDO GUILLER P. CATAPUSAN, of legal age, with a residence at Batinguel, Dumaguete


City, was designated as an IT Technician/ Liaison Officer/MDC – Computer / Peripheral Custodian at
the TechVoc Department of this institution under the supervision of MR. EDLYN P. CASAL. Stated
below are my duties and responsibilities:
 In charge of the three (3) laboratories, each with 20 computers, for a total of 60 computers:
► sets up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers,
printers, etc.)
► install windows, applications, programs, and anti-virus
► install programs and applications requested by the teachers
► install and configures appropriate functions according to specifications, develop and
maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
► checks computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, etc.)
► organizes the schedule for teachers who will be using the computer lab for their classes
► reformat and repair computers and peripherals
 Installs CCTV Wireless Camera
 Monitors the CCTV footages during the conduct of all competency assessments:
► back up and saves the CCTV footages upon the conduct of all competency
assessments as one of the requirements to be submitted to TESDA.
 Maintains all the tools and equipment of the department:
► prepares logbook for the borrowers’ record (name, tool/equipment borrowed, date
borrowed, and date returned)
 Takes charge of all Animation, Bookkeeping, Bread and Pastry Production, Computer Systems
Servicing, Cookery, Food and Beverage Services, Housekeeping II and Housekeeping III
Assessment Centers
► prepares and keeps safe all the tools, equipment and materials necessary prior to,
during, and after each competency assessment
► perform inventories of all tools and equipment required for the evaluations
► canvasses and purchases assessment-related tools, equipment and materials for any
deficiencies or replacements
 As a Liaison Officer, it is my duty to ensure the smooth communication and collaboration of an
organization with external entities, including public, negotiating with others, developing, and
fostering relationships, getting people to understand others’ points of view, and understanding
their parent business and how it impacts stakeholders;
► submits important documents to TESDA Office
► receives important documents from TESDA Office
► canvasses and purchases assessment-related tools, equipment and materials
