ENZYME-LBD

Enzyme-LBD is a semi-concentrated, Powder product intended for incorporation in


stonewashing formulations as a base ingredient.

Enzyme-LBD is a high – performance product which allows new shades and finishes to be
created easily and cost effectively, in an environmentally -friendly way.

Enzyme-LBD is recommended when the following type of finish is sought:

 High color contrast finish


 Low degree of indigo back staining
 High Degree of reproducibility and reliability
 Maximized retention of fabric strength
 Improve Wash look, or creation of new looks
 Easy handling

Enzyme-LBD is a beige-coloured blend of enzyme and auxiliaries available in the


following standard strength:
Enzyme-LBD ........................................... 8000 HCU/g

Enzyme-LBD is formulated with anti-red position agents to ensure minimal back staining. It
needs no further auxiliaries, and is buffered with a phosphate buffering system aimed at
maintaining pH 6-8 during washing.

Suggested Process Conditions are:


Enzyme-LBD dosage ............1- 2% of weight of garment

Liquor/garment ratio.................... 8:1-15:1

Treatment time ........................ ..60-90 min

Temperature .............................. 25 – 35oC

. PH ............................................... 6.5-7.5

The enzymatic treatment should be terminated by a thorough detergent wash-off. For complete
inactivation run for 15 min with 1-2 g/l sodium carbonate (pH≥ 10) at 800 C (1760 F).

Enzyme gradually lose activity over time depending on storage temperature. Cool conditions are
recommended. When stored in closed containers at 25 0C (77 0F), the product will maintain its declared
activity for at least 3 months. Extended storage and/or adverse conditions, including higher
temperatures, may lead to higher dosage requirement.

Enzyme are proteins, and inhalation of dust or aerosols may induce sensitization of dust or aerosols
may induce sensitization, and may cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. Some enzymes
may irritate the skin, yes, and mucous membranes upon prolonged contact.

The product may create easily inhaled aerosols if splashed or vigorously stirred. Spilled material should
be flushed away with water. Avoid splashing. Left-over material may dry out and create dust.

Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection as prescribed on the warning label.
Wash contaminated clothes.
