It is to submit that the 220kV Mahadeva Mangalam (Chittoor) – Renigunta

feeder tripped at both ends on 24.01.2023 at 17:23 Hrs at 400kV SS Chittoor due to B-phase
LA blasted at 400kV Chittoor (Mahadeva Mangalam)end.

The details of relay indications at 400kV SS Chittoor are as furnished below

Main-1 (p444-Schneider) protection :- Zone-1, B-phase, Carrier send , dist: 547.5 meters, AR
not operated. Ir- 622 Amp , Iy- 898 Amp , Ib- 20.15 KA.

Main-2 (7SA522-Siemens) protection :- Zone-1 , Y-phase , B-phase, CB Pole Discrepancy,

Carrier receive.

In order to check the non-operation of AR function, LC availed on 24.01.2023 @

19:40 Hrs and Checked the AR function and found loose wiring in BCU output card of CB
Auto reclosure contact (D08) wiring i.e DOUF-15 . After rectifying the loose wiring, tested
the Auto reclosure function from both Main-1 & main-2 relays and found to be operating
successful for all R,Y,B phases. Hence, feeder were kept in observation. This is for favour of
information and further necessary action please.
