It is to submit that the 220kV Mahadeva Mangalam (Chittoor) –

Renigunta feeder tripped at both ends on 15.01.2023 at 13:21 Hrs at 400kV SS Chittoor due
to Y-phase Disc insulator flashed in the above said line with relay indications as Zone-1,
Y-phase, Carrier Receive & send , AR not operated in Main -1 Protection and Zone-1 , Y-
phase, CB Pole Discrepancy, Carrier receive, Carrier send, AR Block ,Z com, Distance:
41.40km in Main-2 relay.

In order to check the non-operation of AR function, LC availed on 24.01.2023

and Checked the AR function and suspected Circuit breaker Auxiliary NO contact
problematic and replaced the Auxiliary NO contact with another spare NO contact, tested
the Auto reclosure function from both Main-1 & main-2 relays and found to be operating
successful for all R,Y,B phases. Hence, feeder were kept in observation. This is for favour
of information and further necessary action please.
