Progress achievement like when you give the students an essay every week about the same subject or

topic it will be harmful for the students and it will be boring because they might memorize what they
have wrote before and write it again.

Diagnostic tests it in structure courses it depends if the teacher have a lot of students it will be easy for
him to diagnose every single student strength and weakness with pop quiz every last chapter if the
chapter have one objective.

Placement tests like when you want to apply for an institute and you have to take a test to determine
your skills and to place you in your level. I think this is a good test for the students so they will have a
good study objective for them.
