UNSUNG HEROES OF FREEDOM STRUGGLE

INTRODUCTION :

I BCA (MANOJKUMAR.R) I have visited the photo exhibition which held at ST. John Vestry School
in the theme of welfare schemes and unsung heroes of freedom struggle. I have visited the
photo
exhibition on 22nd December 2022. I describe some freedom fighters which I saw in phone
exhibition.

UNSUNG HEROES :
Years of non-violent resistance to british rule, led by Mohandas Gandhi and Jawaharlal
Nehru, eventually resulted in Indian Independence in 1947. In this journey towards freedom
there is
lot of unsung heroes like Rani Abbakha, Velu nachiyar, Jhalkari bai, Matangini hazre, Gulab
kaur,
chakali ilamma and so on

CONCLUSION :

I saw lot of paintings, posters and statues of the greatest

freedom fighters. I knew
about helplines for women. I learned welfare schemes in this
exhibition
