A. Infants

time there is rapid growth and development that reaches its peak at the age of 24 months.
The purpose of providing good nutrition is adequate growth and development of children
WHO recommendations in order to reach the age of months, and continue breastfeeding
until the child is 24 months or older
In addition to diarrhea and respiratory tract infections ( otitis media) and various other
diseases, breastfeeding and breastfeeding activities have an influence on children's motor
and language abilities, and can affect intelligence. Breastfeeding not only provides benefits
for infants and children.
B. Toddler
Toddlers are children who have reached the age of one year or more, popularly known as
toddlers. Toddler is a general term for children aged 1-3 years (toddlers) and preschoolers
(3-5 years). When they are toddlers, children are still completely dependent on their
parents to carry out important activities, such as bathing, defecating and eating (Setyawati
and Hartini, 2018). Important organs of the body are undergoing growth and development.
Nutritional status of toddlers is the state of the body due to food consumption and the use
of nutrients. Nutrition is important to support the growth and development of toddlers. If
the nutritional status of toddlers is not met, complications can occur in their health. For
example, children get tired quickly due to lack of energy, disorders of the brain and others.
If this happens continuously, it will become a serious problem, especially in the nutritional
status of children under five.
The difference between good, bad and bad nutritional status is measured using one of the
anthropometric indices, namely the body weight index according to age (W/U).
According to the Nutrition Adequacy Rate (RDA) issued by PERMENKES Number 28 of
2019, the nutritional needs of toddlers aged 1-3 years are: Energy: 1350 kcal Protein 20
grams fat, 45 grams
