Introduction
Attention Getter: Who doesn’t like Star Wars? Who doesn’t like Legos? Exactly, nobody, that is
why building a Lego star wars set is the best thing in the world!
Credibility Statement: I have built many different huge Lego sets with my family and also a
couple on my own.
Thesis Statement: Being very patient is a virtue that every human must have, and one can develop
this by having fun building Legos, where even adults can have the most fun with the big Lego sets by
building awesome creations carefully.
Body
Prerequisite State
You need: A big, broad space to work on, an empty table is the best fit. (Know that you will
probably be using this table for a whole day)
The Lego Set you wish to complete.
A pair of scissors.
A bookmark.
Optional: Good background music playlist, this is for fun after all!
Interim State
1. Open the Lego set box and take all the bags out, put them in the floor in numerical order (not in the
table because you want to maximize the space you have available).
2. Get the instructions pamphlet and set it on the table very close to you.
3. Take the Bag #1 and open it with the scissors (This is so pieces don’t go flying everywhere if you
open it with your hands)
4. Distribute all pieces on the table and sort them by Color (Make sure to leave a big empty space in the
middle of the table because that is where the construction will be taking place)
5. After you have color sorted everything, then make even smaller groups to distribute them in sizes.
6. Open the instructional pamphlet to its first page and notice the little box on the top left corner, gather
the pieces required and set them aside to somewhere easy to reach. (We do this so that we know that at
the end of this page we have used all of the pieces we were supposed to.
7. Follow the instructions closely and always double check your results by comparing it to the picture on
the page, before moving on.
8. When moving on make sure to place the bookmark on the page you’re on.
9. Repeat this sequence with all the bags until you have the finished product!
Unwanted State
1. Avoid little children going near the workplace.
2. Keep the place as clean as possible.
3. Avoid having food or drinks near.

4. Do not rush, make sure you take your time and do not stress.
5. The most important thing you must avoid: Do Not Lose Any Pieces! (From the mere possibility you
might have dropped a piece, start looking for it.
6. When sorting the pieces, make sure you do not locate any groups on the edges of the table, so you
don’t accidentally bump them over to the floor. Especially small pieces.
Conclusion
Restate Thesis:
Clincher: “Only the best is enough”

As a trusted Lego employee wrote on an online article about the Lego company’s meaning, Mr.
Sandgaard wrote last year that the motto behind the Lego company’s success is “Only the best is good
enough”.
In 2009, Top Gear presenter James May decided he would construct a house completely made
up of legos for his TV series “Toy Story”, The two-story building was located in Great Britain and
used up 3.3 million bricks. “If this man could do this, then you can handle a 3,000 piece
set”
