Objectives
This course will cover the techniques for managing software projects.

Prerequisites
Instructor expectations in terms of prior knowledge and skills

Course Contents
Software Process; Software Configuration Management, CMM Levels, Software Project planning and
Costing; Requirements Engineering; Software Project Design; Testing; Software Metrics; Quality,
Software Project Management; Human Factor.

Special Emphasis
The course is intended to give the students both knowledge about, and practical experience
in, the design and development of production quality software. The techniques taught in the
class will be applied to a substantial team project.

Exam: Final Exam (50%)
Assignments: (30%) Assignments will be given regularly
Term Paper: (20%) A case study will be given to group of students to implement what is
being taught in the course.
