Abstract

The key purpose of this study is to find out the the effects of digital age in

developing verbal communicative skills of third year students, Bachelor of Secondary

Education major in English in Veritas College of Irosin. This study can be used as an

instrument in giving helpful insights mainly to the people that are within or under the

administration of education. This study used a descriptive method and had gathered the

necessary data needed in strengthening the substance of this study.The data were

gathered by utilizing survey questionnaires given to the chosen respondents who were

the fifty-two (52) Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English in Veritas College of

Irosin.These gathered data were analyzed and interpreted for the purpose of clarity and

validity of the content.

At the end of this study, the researchers have found out that there were positive

and negative effects of digital age in development of the students specially in their

verbal communicative skills. As a result, the effects of digital age to the students are

mostly positive.

Further studies could be a great help in ascertaining the appropriate and essential

solutions for this concern.
