“Complying with U.S. Export Controls”
Continuing legal education credit (MCLE) is available, and varies with the length of each
seminar, for California State Bar members.
The instructors are experienced export policy specialists, and enforcement personnel from BIS's
field offices. This seminar will also include guest speakers from the U.S. Census Bureau and the
Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control. The instructors will be available
during the seminar to answer your questions.
Location/Time
The program will be held at the The Westin Los Angeles Airport, 5400 West Century Boulevard,
Los Angeles, CA 90045. Registration will begin at 7:30am on March 7, 2023. The program
starts at 8:30am and ends at 4:30pm on both days.
Accommodations
Special Room Rates are available for overnight stays from March 3, 2023 - March 13, 2023 at a
rate of $159 per night. The last day to reserve a room at this special rate is Monday, February 13,

Registration
The seminar registration fee is $695 per person. The fee includes continental breakfast, coffee
breaks, lunch on both full days, and conference materials. The registration fee is non-refundable
after March 1, 2023.
A special discount of $100 extends to those who register for both Complying with U.S. Export
Controls and How to Develop an Effective Export Compliance Program.
