Creamy Hummus

Ingredients
 1 (14-ounce) can chickpeas (plus ⅓ cup of the liquid)
 ⅓ cup tahini
 juice from ½ lemon
 2 tablespoons olive oil
 ½ teaspoon salt
 Optional Ingredients
 paprika, for garnish
 olive oil, for garnish

Directions
1. Add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor, reserving a few of the chickpeas to top the finished
hummus if desired.
2. Blitz until completely smooth, about 1 minute.
3. Transfer to your serving bowl of choice.
4. Top with some extra olive oil, the reserved chickpeas, and a sprinkle of paprika, as desired.

Fig Baked Brie

Ingredients
 1 wheel (about 1 pound) mild Brie cheese
 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
 3 tablespoons honey, divided
 4 small figs
 ¼ cup pecans
 Optional Ingredients
 thyme sprigs, for garnish

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. Place the Brie onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
3. Use a sharp knife to score the top of the cheese it in a crisscross fashion.
4. Mix the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of honey together, then brush it onto the top of the Brie, being careful
not to get it on the parchment paper or it will burn quickly.
5. Roughly chop the pecans; set them aside.
6. Slice the figs into quarters and arrange them on top of the cheese.
7. Bake the cheese for 15 minutes.
8. Take it out of the oven and drizzle the remaining tablespoon of honey over the warm figs.
9. Add the chopped nuts and thyme, if using.
10. Serve warm with crackers or bread.
