16 personalities reflection

After completing 16 personalities test I found out the name of my designation, which is – Executive.
Traits related to my personality are Extraverted, Observant, Thinking and Judging and referred to as
ESTJ. I did not have to retake a test or think twice whether if it is me or not, simply because the
description, weaknesses, and strengths, have left me in a state of shock. The website knows me
more than I do.

Two of the strengths listed were dedicated and strong-willed, which explains my true zeal for
working and studying. For instance, when I was still a child my mom has always wanted me to
prosper in every aspect I only could. That is why I have attended various sections for kids such as
vocal studio, dancing and ice-skating classes, drawing and karate, playing football and volleyball. Not
every child could manage this amount of hard work and would just give up, however me myself have
always had a goal to commit as much as I can and finish any classes I have started, never crying
about dropping out. I was also described as an honest, loyal, reliable, and patient person. For me it
is important to communicate with a person only through a truth. If a person lies to me I cannot trust
this person anymore, hence how am I supposed to believe and build any relationships with him/her?
As an example, I believe everyone had lied in their lives but then learned a valuable lesson like me.
When I was in third grade, I lied about being filmed in a very popular movie in order for everyone to
like me. As time passed, I have started to forget the details of the lie I came up with, which resulted
in everyone finding out I was lying. Thus, it is better to say the truth before people could expect the
things from me that I cannot provide as well as keep my word. The reason for this is that people
treat you the same as you treat them!

The weaknesses are also relevant to me and listed as stubborn, judgmental and too focused on
social status. I always tend to prove my point and being stubborn is one of the reasons. For example,
when combining studying and working it might be hard to keep up with deadlines or even health, so
my friend always tells me “Ask for a one day off! Only one!” and I never do it. I understand, he might
be right, but for me it is essential to attend a shift and prove myself that I’m capable of anything!
Even if it is a matter of one day off. And this weakness links to the other one right away, which is
difficulty to relax. Since I am too focused on my social status, I also think too much about what other
people think about me or tell me. The weakness united with me unable to express emotions
properly and focusing on things that are not that important.

My career plan is related to a medical field, but particularly related to teeth. Since I am interested in
the ways our body works and pay great attention to details, I believe this career is perfect for myself.
The test has demonstrated the career paths that are most likely to fit my personality type have to
include straightforwardness, sense of loyalty such as having only 1 employer and being faithful to
him. Some examples of industries I can succeed in are law enforcement, military services, hospitals
and legal firms. Hence working with patients in a clinic matches my goal and personality faultlessly.
