Methodology
Each of the different treatments presented on the tables have different amount of
combined fertilizers which are; 0%, which consists 0g or Urea and 0g of Complete Fertilizer,
50% that has 0.76g of Complete Fertilizer and 0.41g of Urea, the recommended rate (100%)
which has 1.51g of Complete Fertilizer and 0.815 Urea, 150% which has 2.27g of Complete
Fertilizer and 1.22g of Urea, 200% that has 3.02g of Complete Fertilizer and 1.63g of Urea.
Lastly, 300% which consists of 4.54 Complete Fertilizer and 2.44 Urea.

Interpretation/ Findings

Findings suggests that there are different effects on the amounts of fertilizers used in each
treatment per block. It could be too little or too much for the rice plant. For treatment 1 which
has no fertilizer inputs at all, there is a difference in the development in height and in tiller
numbers compared to the ones with a specific amount of fertilizer, its developing yellow leaves
because of lacking nitrogen and is observed to turn into rust. Treatment 2 which is 50% the
required fertilizer shows stable development but slower compared to the other treatments with
higher inputs. Treatment 3 with the recommended amount of fertilizer also has stable growth,

just right on height and tillers that should be in its characteristics at that stage. Treatments from
150% to 300% showed rapid growth and development in height and in tillers but there are
problems in putting too much input on the crop because too much of it results into toxicity, the
leaves are also turning yellow, resulting to rust and eventually, senescence.

In summary, treatments with minimal or no inputs also grow, but not as quickly as those with
higher input levels. The general growth and development of the plant is impacted by too much or
too little nourishment.

The graphs demonstrate that one of the treatments stood out among the others. However,
according to findings, treatment 4 is 150% of the combined fertilizer (2.27 g of complete
fertilizer and 1.22 g of urea). The medication resulted in fast height and tiller growth. However,
it is also shown which treatments are least advised: treatments 1 (0%, consisting of 0 g of urea
and 0 g of complete fertilizer) and 6 (300%, consisting of 4.54 g of complete fertilizer and 2.44 g
of urea). Both of these treatments showed a lack of growth in comparison to other treatments
because too much or too little fertilizer can affect a plant’s growth and development.
