FIRST SEMESTER

WELCOME TO
CLASS!
This class will serve as our virtual classrroom! All
information with regards to our class will be relayed
here! I know that everyone is struggling right now. It
might be about your studies, family, health, friends, or
even simple day to day activities. The COVID 19
Pandemic has changed a lot of things but we must
understand that now, more than ever, LEARNING IS
IMPORTANT AND STILL SHOULD BE ONE OF OUR
PRIORITIES. If you observe our society right now, you will
see a world that is in turmoil. Despite all the available
resources, the truth about most things are unclear for
some of us. Even with obvious signs, fake news spreads
like wild fire. The virus is not the only thing that we have
to combat during this pandemic. We have to fight
against misinformation in order for us to win this battle.
For a better post-pandemic world, let us all work
together to win this fight!

 NATIONAL SERVICE
TRAINING PROGRAM 1
The NSTP is a program aimed at enhancing civic consciousness and
defense preparedness in the youth by developing the ethics of service and
patriotism while undergoing training in any of its program components.

Furthermore, its various components are specially designed to enhance the

youth’s active contribution to the general welfare of the nation.

By the end of the semester, you should be able to:

1. Understand the goals, objectives and importance of the National
Service Training Program (NSTP)
2. Explain the basic premises of the constitution and its importance to
the citizenry
3. Explain the desirable traits of a Filipino that contribute to his
development as well as the the national development
4. Explain the role of youth in Nation Bulding as RA 9163's guiding
principle in its implementation
5. Identify and understand the various activities in the community and the
need for education
6. Prepare interview and survey questionnaire for assessment of
community needs
7. Prepare a project proposal for a specific barangay
8. Implement the proposed project in the chosen barangay

AUDIOS, ACTIVITIES, ETC) FOR YOUR ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES. IT
IS EXPECTED THAT YOU WILL GO OVER THE MATERIALS AND
ACCOMPLISH THE ACTIVITIES/TASKS (IF ANY).
