GLOBAL INVEST COMMODITIES LTD. (GIC)

Introduction
Grain distribution is one of the fastest growing products across the globe, with high
demand for the products in breweries and household consumption. With GIC operating in
three countries across the globe, drafting an appropriate policy is key to sustaining the
operation of the company. In line with this, this policy document looks at the business
policy and corporate social responsibility policies of Global Invest Commodities Limited.

BUSINESS POLICY

1. Employee Policy

 Employees need to know and adhere to GTI Company’s code of conduct,


employee handbook and other policies established by the company.

 Employees should get appropriate permission before referring products to


vendors or suppliers.

 It is highly recommended that employees keep the Company’s accounts and


activities separate from personal accounts and activities.

 Whilst working with GTI, employees are not allowed to engage in similar
businesses with customers and suppliers of the company.

 All employees are expected to learn a second language

2. Product Market, Pricing and Distribution Policy

Table 1.0 below shows the business policies of Global Invest commodities on the
dimensions of quality, pricing, credit line and distribution.

3. Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.

At GIC, our social responsibility policy is defined as follows.

The policies adopted above are built to reflect emerging issues and standards of globally
accepted principles.

4. Business Ethics and Transparency


 Commitment towards high standard of moral integrity through our internal
policies, and advice to our suppliers and customers to integrate our policy into the
broader corporate governance policies of theirs.

5. Environment Health & Safety


 Commitment towards the protection of the health and safety of all individuals
who are affected by our activities
 Mitigate the impact of our activities on the environment through sound
environmental practices.

6. Stakeholder Relations
 As a global business, we will apply our commitment towards fair labour practices
and respect National and local laws wherever we operate.
 We will not discriminate or intimidate any employee on the basis of nationality,
race, colour or gender.

7. Community Involvement
 GIC we seek to understand and respect the local laws, value systems and culture
wherever the company operates.
 We will equally support community initiatives through financial commitment and
logistical support.
